Hearth Church · Est. 1921

The red doors on Chapel Lane.

Hearth has met in the brick church on Chapel Lane since 1921. There’s a traditional service at 9 with the organ and choir, and a contemporary one at 11. Coffee hour is in between, and the cake is homemade.

Sundays at Hearth

Two services on Sunday

Pick the music you like. Children’s church runs during both.

Traditional

9:00 AM

Hymns with organ and choir, a Scripture reading and a quieter hour.

Contemporary service at Hearth

Contemporary

11:00 AM

Newer songs with a band, the same sermon, and a busier room.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

Every generation

From the cradle roll to the eighty-year-olds

Our eighty-year-olds pray for the toddlers by name. The toddlers draw them pictures, which end up on a lot of fridges.

Third Sunday of the month

Stay for Sunday lunch.

On the third Sunday of the month the fellowship hall fills up with roast chicken, potato salad and far too many desserts. Everyone eats free, and Edith will make sure you have seconds.
